Smith Lake Sink Hole

We just wanted to take a minute to warn you about the hole off Murchison rd near Smith and Simmons Lake! It is near the boat launch at Smith Lake. Doesn’t look like much but we’ve pulled a few people out from this spot! There appears to be a stump that keeps hanging people up so, take us... read more

WOR at Okeechobee Mudfest

A fortuitous series of events allowed us to attend the famous Okeechobee Mudfest in Okeechobee Fl this past weekend. Very few words can accurately describe the sheer size of the event — from the physical area of the semi-circle campgrounds that surround the pit, to the vehicles running, to the girls and their lovely curves! We’d like to start off by thanking the Williamsons who own Red’s Restaurant in Hernando, FL near the Withlacohcee River. They were kind enough to let us camp with them, use their camper, and ride around in the big trucks you’ll see from the... read more

Amp Tour Tough Truck Challenge at the Crown Colosseum

We had a lot of fun this year taking our trucks out to the Crown Colosseum for our annual partnership with Amp Tour and their monster trucks. Wilson raced his red Cherokee and Shawn came back with a truck provided by Thomas White. The rivalry continued between Wilson and Shawn G, ending in a tie. Wilson managed to secure a faster time Friday night, while Shawn was able to shave off enough time to beat Wilson Saturday night. Let it also be mentioned that the refs decided to throw in cones last minute on Saturday with no time to plan. A penalty was given for hitting a cone and unfortunately Wilson managed to clip one because he never got a chance to see where they were first. So we definitely congratulate Shawn on his victory because he’s part of the team but the actual regulations of this race are... read more

2012

Hey Folks! Its a new year and as expected, we’re planning for a bigger and better one than the last! Our first step is to connect more with our fans and onlookers here at the website. We’re going to have news-like reports about the interesting goings on at Wilson Off Road, with run downs of the vehicles that come and go from our shop on a weekly basis and a “Featured Vehicle of the Week.” We’re going to provide recaps and photos from our events, including the Colosseum Tough Truck race coming up at the end of January. (stay tuned for a flyer with all the information on that!) With this first post of the year, I thought I’d share some helpful information about navigating our website efficiently. I’ve always been an Internet Explorer user much to the chagrin of all Mozilla Fire Fox users. So this year for the sake of keeping this website updated, I downloaded Fire Fox and gave it a shot. Needless to say, it is more fluid and less glitchy.(and it has spell check) Likewise, it has this neat feature that allows me to subscribe to websites like Wilson Off Road.com and then view any updates the website has on a “feed” similar to status updates on Facebook. Basically, it allows me to see the websites that interest me all on one page and I can pick and choose the posts I want to read. Like a newspaper designed especially for me! Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, If you like Wilson Off Road and you want to see more, I suggest making... read more

“I recently added a 3” BDS lift with Fox Shocks and 35’s to my 14JK. Wilson’s Off Road Staff helped me choose the right lift and tires for my off-road needs. I could not be happier with the service that was provided by Wilson Off Road. Exceeded my expectations. Clearly the best 4X4 shop in Fayetteville.”

“I’ve been doing business with Keith Wilson at Wilson Off Road since he started the business in 2006. Whether it’s been storing my truck during deployment or them repairing my entire front end, I’m always impressed by their professionalism and customer service. If you need anything done for your vehicle, they’re definitely the first place to stop at, because with the way they treat customers, Wilson Off Road will be you’re only stop!”

“I have found that Keith Wilson and his staff are VERY friendly. I brought my Jeep in and they were very thorough in telling me what I needed, how they were going to make the repairs and how much it was going to cost. Not only was it ready early, but they did a great job fixing everything and it cost exactly what they told me it would. I did a ton of research before I had any work done and found Shawn to be on point with pricing and got me the best parts for the money. I would definitely recommend Wilson to any of my four wheeling friends and i am a customer for life!!”
